Sequoia Adult School Turns 100!
Top of Page

A century ago, in 1921, in a shared building on the Sequoia High School campus, the dreams of academic success and bright futures began to take seed in Redwood City. With the help of teachers, staff, supporters, alumni, and students, Sequoia Adult School has emerged as a leading school for adults in the Bay Area.

To celebrate our legacy, share in our successes, and explore our boundless future, events are planned for our 100th birthday. To kick off the festivities, on May 12, 2021, SAS will give a presentation to the school board, that includes a video tribute and will recognize teachers, staff, and volunteers. The Administrative Team will also provide a presentation to the North Fair Oaks Community Council (date TBD). Also in the works is a new logo that will be painted on the school facade.

Be a part of history, we invite you to join us during our 100th anniversary.  To get involved, become a volunteer tutor, sponsor a Centennial event, or share your SAS alum story. Contact us at 650.306.8866.
