High School Equivalency
California has approved the use of two high school equivalency tests (GED® and HiSET®) for test-takers 18 years old and older (in some rare instances, 17 year olds) for the purpose of receiving a California HSE Certificate (GED or HiSET). Sequoia Adult School offers classes to help adults to prepare for the General Educational Development (GED) Test leading to a California High School Equivalency Certificate. Classes are held during the morning and in the evening, in English. When students are ready to take the GED or HiSET exams they can do so in our state-certified test center.
High School Diploma
Sequoia Adult School offers direct and independent study classes to help adults earn a California High School Diploma. The program requires completion of 150 credits for a high school diploma.
