Launched in January 2015 by the Silicon Valley Community
Foundation, the Sequoia Union High School District received $60,226 for
its Leadership, Employment, Academic Prep program at the Adult School.
The purpose of Project LEAP (Leadership, Employment and Academic
Preparation) is to prepare students to successfully transition from
Sequoia District Adult School to community college by informing them
about educational options, and to support students during and after
their transition by advising them about college-related issues and
career pathways.
Since that time the Adult School has continued the transition program and we are proud to announce that there are over 250 SAS graduates currently enrolled in local Community Colleges.
