Expanded WiFi Access at San Mateo County Libraries

  • Redwood City Downtown Library now covers Lot B, the large parking lot at the corner of Jefferson and Middlefield. There are 10 reserved parking spaces, offered free of charge
  • Monday through Saturday from 10 am-6 pm with a 2-hour limit.
  • WiFi at Redwood Shores Branch Library covers the parking lot on the Community Rooms side of the building.
  • Fair Oaks Branch Library is covered by San Mateo County WiFi that extends into the parking lot.
  • Schaberg Branch Library does not have external WiFi coverage due to there being no adjacent parking lot.
  • WiFi networks are available from 6:00am to 11:00pm.

Outlet- A program of Adolescent Counseling Services

Outlet empowers Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning (LGBTQQ+) youth and builds safe and accepting communities through support, education, and advocacy.
 

Immigrants Rising-Mental Health Connector

Immigrants Rising’s Mental Health Connector provides undocumented young people with psychological support, allowing them to access their strengths and resiliency in order to achieve their personal goals and healing.
 
Experienced and culturally responsive mental health therapists volunteer to provide free and completely confidential services, tailored to meet the needs of each individual. Therapists receive ongoing peer consultation and training to better understand the unique experiences of undocumented young people.
All undocumented young people who reside in California and are comfortable conversing in English are eligible for our service.
